Actually !!! can be pronounced by repeating any syllable three times in a row, says the band themselves. Most people just refer to them as "chk chk chk" as a standard so that people can remotely know what you're talking about. That's why I dislike the whole idea of having such an obscure name. But their music is still awesome.

You know where it's from? It's from a scene in The Beatles movie Magical Mystery Tour. Where the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band (Terrible band name o_O) sings a song with a stripper doin' her thing and stuff. And the song was called Death Cab For Cutie. Hence the band's name .
