it doesn't show in canada anymore? it just noticed it on the-n channel about a year ago and it's still going strong. i don't like it much, but it's exactly like a soap opera: you hate the thing, it has terrible acting, but you just...can't stop watching it.

And yeah, the acting wasn't spectacular, but it wasn't all that bad for an 80's Canadian TV show.

the 80s? it's a popular show now over here. geared mainly toward junior-high kids. they no doubt have entirely different children playing the roles now. nonetheless, the message is the same. i'd encourage younger kids to watch it because, as you said, it deals with social issues and it seems that younger children are always seeking advice and the knowledge that they're not alone in the world. to tell the truth, it's not that different for adults.

I love how Joey always felt the need to make Zit Remedy references throughout the shows' phases. Too bad he's not on the series anymore. I can't really imagine what Degrassi is without Pat. And now, theyre only showing like 11??(i dont know the actual number, but it's low) shows this season, all of them being so spread apart. Damn them! tngho has been keeping it real though.

Oh, I haven't watched in a while, but one time when I did see an episode, I remember there were no lyrics. I just wish they would go back to the season 1 theme song though.
