He's not gonna be the next MJ, or the next Kobe or KG(coming straight out of high school and making a huge impact).

I saw the Summer League highlights on ESPN, he was getting dunked on alot. Dunking on 5'11, pimple-faced kids will make you look amazing, but try dunking over 7', 300 pound monsters(ahem, SHAQ). When he can dunk over Shaq, I'll be impressed.

I think he has a chance to bring the Cavs out of their slump.

He's going to be the NBA's next big star, it's that simple.

I know everyone likes to hate on him because it's fashionable to dislike someone so young making so much money and getting so much hype.

In two years he'll have the Cavaliers in the playoffs. Hell, his presence alone has been enough motivation for Darius Miles to get his act together and actually trying again.

This kid is a playmaker in the Magic Johnson mold. He'll get his teammates involved before looking for his own shot and he's all about winning.

Everyone is going to be down on him this year because they're expecting way too much from an 18-year old kid. But give him a year or two and you'll see something incredibly special.

His passing skills and unselfishness...that's what all the scouts rave about. He sees the floor better than many veterans do. Another thing they like is his body..he already has an NBA body which puts him a step ahead of the other guys who came out of high school and weren't as developed (Garnett is a prime example). Doesn't mean he's in NBA shape yet though...and from what I've heard he has to work on that some more.

I'll say this...I'd rather hear about him than Kobe Bryant's stupid trial.

and heres why, they have enough people who score. thats not why they only won 15 games last year. they only won 15 games last year because they grouped together a team of ball hogs. they would rather see their stats shine instead of their team. you say hes not selfish but he will be. and they will be lucky to win 20-30 games this year.
