I'm looking for some good blues/rock guitarists. In particular, Jon Frusciante-ish and newer John Mayer material. Any good recommendations? Instrumental would be great, but if its a band thats cool as well. any ideas?

he's so good on guitar. & i enjoy the album slippin' in, his voice is alright but his lyrics can often either be pretty sweet or bloody terrible haha

i'm a big b.b. king fan. i'd highly suggest checking him out mate. as for clapton... he's talented, but i don't enjoy listening much of his solo work haha. however his collaborations with the likes of b.b. or j.j cale, etc are gold
