I think its gettin to be pretty good, we're gettin good bands playing and there seems to be a lot of support for local bands aswell as international bands.
Everyone seems willing to try out new bands and new music and give it a chance.
What do you all guys think of the state of live music in the UK at the moment? Feel free to agree or disagree :-)

countless "metalcore" bands
having said that though, there's some decent hardcore bands and dartz! are well good.
internationally it's alright, more bands seem to be hopping over the pond, but unfortunatly none of them are ones i want to see.

I agree with Popmusicisdead that there is pretty decent live music around our area at the moment, we seem to be getting decent bands playing and local bands seem to be getting a lot of support slots. I've been to 7 gigs in the last month(1 being in london) and all of them have had pretty decent local bands supporting

I've noticed a few different bands have been touring from overseas which is always a good thing.
There just doesn't seem to be many UK bands that I'm into at the moment, I can probably count all the ones I like and would enjoy seeing live on one hand.
