Sonata

I threw rocks at your window
but you weren't around,
no you weren't around
I stood there on your doorstep
but you weren't around,
no you weren't around

so I carved you out of soundwaves
a melody softly kissing my ear
and when it plays it burns the atmosphere
different shades of white and clear
and you danced with me on ledger lines
at the cadence to the world
when the band strikes up and the curtain falls
the end line of everything
and we dived together into the sky
made neighbors of the stars

and I told you that I loved you
but you weren't around

I like it, particulary the rhyming scheme. The recording is very good day, I found myself listening to it a couple of times. It's one of those piece where I feel that I can put it on loop and not get bored.

Great job!

I really liked this one. The first stanza was pretty simple, but simple = good with me, that is, if it's done right. And there, it was.

The rest of the piece is great, though, and really struck me as being pretty original. Great job, all in all, man.
