oh yeah enter shikari were awesome. i saw them at this club called satans hollow, where the stage is just in the middle of the floor, slightly lower than the rest of the club. its circular, with a rail going all the way round, so its pretty much enclosed. the stage is pretty small but they owned it. probably hard to imagine what it was like, not having seen the club and all. i don't imagine they'd be good on big stages though, which they play on now.

First of all, the best live performance/performer Ive ever seen was Danzig, single greatest night of my life when I saw him live.

Comeback Kid and Bury Your Dead are really fun bands to see mainly becuase of the huge pile ups at the end of the show. Converge is pretty good but didnt live up to my expectations. Hatebreed is good because they play for forever.
A really good grindcore band I saw the other night with Bury Your Dead is Suicide Silence, recorded they dont sound the best but live they are fucking amazing, the vocalist is hands down the best vocalist in grindcore.

Some may hate me for this but the worst bands Ive ever seen live are:
Alkaline Trio (saw them with Against Me, worse shit I have ever seen, I almost died)
From Autumn To Ashes
Heavy Heavy Low Low (great band but biggest dissapointment I saw them and the guys were su fucked up on drugs they could hardly play, they only played 5 songs on a show they headlined)
Atreyu was pretty bad too

i haven't read through this whole thing, but anything anyone mentions pales in comparison to bruce springsteen with the e-street band and pearl jam.

springsteen is 58 and still jumping around yelling his ass off for 3 hours. and as far as just a good olf fashioned rock show, pearl jam brings it. completely different sets from night to night, shows ranging from 2 hours of adrenaline, to a 3 and a half hour show of rarities, covers, b-sides, and requests. no one does the live show better than these two, IMO.

Envy on the Coast is great live. Ryan has a lot of energy.

The Bled was intense when i saw them live, thier lead singer was really good and got involved with the crowd, they sounded great and i really got into them. He kept telling the crowd to throw all of thier bracelets on stage and then whatever garbage they could find. It was interesting. Also, he threw a water bottle into the crowed and some dumbass kid dove to catch it, hit his face on the ground and fucked it up bad, then proceeded to drink what was left in the waterbottle.

My Chemical Romance had a good performance, even though i despise them.

Also one of the best shows I've ever been to was back when I was in high school I saw Thrice/Coheed and Cambria/Thursday. Those are three bands that will never tour together again. But, it was one of the best nights of my life.

I know they get a lot of shit on here for their live shows..but i honestly think TAI put on one of the best shows last night...maybe its because it was at a smaller venue and the crowd was very into it, but its been a while since i've had that much fun at a concert

Iron Maiden. Rock in Rio. SICKThe Matches, especially Salty Eyes, are just as good/better than in studio.The Clash live CD was pretty amazing.Scary Kids Scaring Kids.And I gotta go with STD. The one time I saw them live, the bass sound just smacked the crap outta me.Story of the Year hell yes. I heard Page Avenue, liked it, then borrowed live in the lou from a library. Just untouchable.

The worst band to ever see live.. is Senses Fail.. and i feel so bad. cause theyre so good. Too bad their live show is horrible
