I'd say Creed, 3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Theory Of A Dead Man. Korn seem to get worse and worse as well as the years go by...

The Misfits, Dead Kennedys...

im sure there is more. but the misfits are just as useless without danzig as DK is without jello.

Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they need to break up. Just cause they been around forever doesn't mean they need to break up. They work hard at what they do and you can't ask anymore of them.

Excuse me? S.T.U.N. is a great band. despite the fact that they are a completely shameless RATM rip-off, they still have some excelllent songs.

I agree that Korn should die. In a short span of albums they have fallen from one of my favorites to just another schlocky angst-ridden nu-metal act.

I also have a serious aversion to Relient K. I may be allergic to bad hooks, or maybe it's the way they gimmick good kids out of their money by calling themselves a "Christian Band", despite the fact that their music is totally indestinguishable from the rest of the pop-punk heap.

Trapt. Ew. I offer no explanation. If you need one, you have not heard their music yet.

thats no good reason for those bands to break up. most of them have only put out 1 cd. they should just break up because you hate the genre

i dont think any band should break up, apprently, they r doing something right if people listen to their stuff anf buy their cds. and if they decide to break up, then good for them, but theres no need for u to say, they should break up, becasue u dont like them.

If I hear the "success justifies shitty music" defense one more time...

i didnt mean it like that, just a band shouldnt break up cause u dont like them, other people do, so they must be doing something right

I've found that no matter how bad a band is, someone is bound to like them. Today, two of my fellow counselors were defending Stephen Jenkins of Third Eye Blind as the greatest active songwriter. They also said they really liked the songs of Fuel and Eve 6.

I really hate Thursday and Saves The Day, but I don't care if they break up or not... if I don't like a band I just don't listen to them.

well you could ask more from them, like to realize they're at a point where they can't do anything more with their career or their music so instead of perpetuating pure shit they could step down. bands like (as seth said) the dead kennedys and the misfits (the sex pistols too) all reached their peak between 15-25 years ago, having them continue to play is only ruining what dignity they had left. the dead kennedys were the greatest punk band of all time, there isn't much more they could ask for, and certainly nothing more they could attain by playing shows without jello. the same goes for the misfits without danzig and the sex pistols without sid viscious, and any other old "revived" punk band that's bound to come out due to punk's new popularity.

"Never underestimate my Jesus, you're telling me that there's no hope I'm telling you your wrong." --For the Moments I Feel Faint

"Jesus I pray, please take all my mistakes. Throw them away, destroy them for my sake." --Less Is More

"Jesus loves the outcasts. He loves the ones the world just loves to hate. And as long as there's a heaven, there will be a failure to excommunicate." --Failure to Excommunicate

"Why dont you try to slow down. Slow things down. Cause I know your hurting, so put down your burden. Crucify your doubts and just reach out, reach out to Jesus. Embrace him, turn your life around to face him. You'll find mercy, you'll see grace. Love and beauty defined in his face" --The Rest Is Up to You

Yea, real indistinguishable idiot. Why don't you look deeper into a band before critiscizing them. Maybe their new album isn't as hardcore Christian but the message is still strong. And if you're going to criticize indistinguishable bands, you should check MxPx and Slick Shoes. Neither has a very open song. So learn your stuff next time.

there's a couple of songs by fuel that i like. like "hemmorage" and "shimmer". and eve 6... well, i liked the "heart in the blender" song from 9th grade and that's about it.

Stephen Jenkins is nowhere near the greatest songwriter, but I do enjoy his music, and he does write good songs.
