I fuckin hate Ted Thompson (Packers GM) for not pulling the trigger on getting Moss. OH well, that's why the Packers are average and the Patriots are champions.

I agree. I was sooooo pissed they got Anthony Gonzales after the Titans go NO elite WR. I get the privilege of seeing him burn our ass for the next 10 years. Fun.

Moss also comes to New England with the warning that, as Bill Parcells used to say, the light is yellow and ready to turn red. The Patriots have notified Moss that, under no circumstance, will they tolerate any of the transgressions that have marked his career. The first controversial incident that Moss is involved in will be his last. The Patriots insist they will release him.

he was joking about restructuring his deal. Trade Deion Branch for Randy Moss at $3 million and a 1st rounder next year? Ill take it
Moss contract details
Posted by John Tomase at 3:41 pm
Randy Moss put his money where his mouth is to come to New England. The wideout accepted a one-year deal worth $3 million, with $2 million in earned incentives. He had been due to make $9.75 million this year and $11.25 million next year, but tore up that deal.
also, the patriots apparently confirmed that Moss ran 40 times of 4.29 and 4.30 last week

Moss' ego will never make it in NE. He'll want the ball but Brady will divide it up. Stallworth will be the best WR on that team not Moss which will cause the Moss/NE relationship to end before the end of the season.

im from new england, and i hate how everyone (especially sports commentators) are always sucking the pats' dicks. pisses me off.
as someone else stated, moss won't b much of an addition to the team. he won't be the leading reciever, stallworth will be, and tom brady will spread the ball. while on the subject, tom brady is an overrated pretty-boy who bitches about getting hit too hard and begs for personal foul calls.
the only reason why the pats do well is because of the dirtbag bum billicheck who has no life and devotes all of his time to team strategy... fucking nerd genius.

he's right about stallworth though. if anything the coverage that moss is going to draw will open up the field for brady.

yeah, thats going to be one of the biggest benefits of getting Moss ..Stallworth thrives as a #2 WR. With Welker in the slot ... I really think we have to as perfect as a 1-2-3 punch as there is. All 3 are in roles that suit them perfectly.

I'm skeptical. I mean I know he was playing with the worst team ever in Oakland, but it'll be interesting if he can be half the player he used to be. I mean he hasnt shown a lot for a while.

Jim Rome argued that the Pats got a slacker that's lost a lot of speed and ability. I halfway agree with that, but I think his career will be resurrected in NE.

Haha. I still expected the Pats to win the division this year, but I still think we can contend for WC spot. They've really got the team going in the right direction in NY though, and eventually something has to end the Pats streak.

lost a lot of speed? he ran a 4.30 40 in the past month. if that's losing speed, fuck it.
moss wants to win a championship. he'll straighten up. he'll be a threat again. he'll get his touches. but more importantly, just having him on the field will open up more opportunities for welker and stallworth, and open a lot more lanes for maroney.
and if he doesn't, who cares? the pats don't have a lot of needs and all they gave up was a fourth round draft pick. they still have a solid receiving corps without moss. if he doesn't work out, they cut him and it doesn't hurt anything. if he works out, they'll be fucking increidble.
it's win/win and i honestly have no clue how anybody can convince themselves otherwise.

moss is washed up. he thinks that going to the pats is going to revamp his career but its just gonna make him look stupid bc the pats already have decent cornerbacks. hes not gonna get a chance to shine, hes gonna get a chance to look old.

he still has the skills to be a top 5 receiver in the league. with brady throwing to him, he'll remind everybody of that.

its also got open up alot of room for Maroney to run around in. I highly doubt that he will see more than 7 men in the box often with the recieving threats we have. Also, Ben Watson is gonna have a big year because of this, he will have to be covered by a LB, and there arent many in the league as fast as him

Ben Watson will be huge. I liked Daniel Graham, but there's no denying that he took a lot away from Watson in terms of production, yet he still put up solid numbers.
The sky is the limit for this team if Maroney and Graham can stay healthy and play a full season. That's my only concern right now, but it's minor.

brady's not losing a dime in doing this. just makes the money he's getting more cap friendly.

from what i heard, not sure if its true or not, is that he basically turned not gauranteed money into gauranteed money. He reduced his money per year, but increased his signing bonus, or something like that

yeah, it was just moving money around. he ends up getting the same amount, but now less counts against the cap.
peyton did the same thing after superbowl when he reworked his contract. he didn't give up any money, just made it more cap friendly.
it's a common thing, i just hate that when big name players do it everybody tries to pass them off as saints.
