All Time Low and Jack's Mannequin's songs sound great.

not too impressed honestly. they needed to do differnt songs or exclusives

Most of these just completely sucked. The couple that didn't were just bland and average.

I hate that Plus 44's song wasn't re-done or anything..it was the same version released months ago.

agreed. pretty disappointing after all.

why wont Fearless just stop?

they are a shell of what they used to be and these comps keep getting worse.

agreed. pretty disappointing after all.

I just listened to them all again and make my mind up, I will not be buying this. Not one track stands out and the +44, Say Anything, and Set Your Goals songs are terrible. Jack's Mannequin is decent, but not worth 12$ for this crappy cd.

there is some shit on there!

i was expecting good things from the Set Your Goals song but it just sucked...

lame

Jack's Mannequin's version of "Bruised" and Say Anything's "Woe" were orgasmic.

I still will not be shelling out $12 for this, though (thank God for Ruckus).

its hard to judge 30 sec clips, but Im diggin say anything, the spill canvas, and set your goals

from those clips the only one that i was impressed with is Say Anything because it seems they really took the time to change the song to fit the acoustic sound.

All Time Low and Jack's Mannequin's songs sound great.

agreed. they're the only two worth getting this for.

Hmm, as much as I love All Time Low and theAUDITION, I think the clips were average. But I'll have to wait until I hear the full versions of the songs. But I definitely wouldn't spend $12 or so and buy the CD. I just think it sounds weird taking a faster song like Jasey Rae and doing it acoustically. I figured they would of done Lullabies.

what the hell are you talking about, it sounds just like the version on the cd except acoustic. i think it's amazing. jack's mannequin should release an all acoustic album.

that would be cool. Ild love to get my hands on that version of La La Lie he was playing at his shows just recently. I liked it better than the original. hope he releases that in the future

His voice is so damn pitchy and it has no urgency in it all which is what makes the original so great. Bruised is my favorite song on the album but this version sounds too bland.

i think everyone's being a little harsh, most of the clips sound pretty good. i mean they aren't all amazing but they definitely aren't horrible.

04/29/07, 02:27 PM
im still debating on buying it, but i think the spill canvas, say anything, and all time low are probably going to be the best songs on their. i think everyone is being to harsh now also, they are only clips.

The only track on here worth a damn is by Anti-Flag, and it's been released elsewhere already. It's not even that solid of a track, but at least it'll get a message to kids that think it's okay to listen to Plus 44 or Jack's Mannequin (cancer doesn't make crappy music good).

it's pretty sorry that they didn't even redo the +44 song. i'm sure that most of them in there are like that. the bands already had acoustic songs done and fearless decided to put them on here.

I'm just excited for a new Say Anything studio recording. I was afraid it was just some rehash from something they did previously, but this sounds cool.

Punk Goes Acoustic was one of my favorite compilation albums of all time.

Almost all of them I think are like that -- I had like 80% of this comp already.

The other +44 and AAR acoustic tracks are good though ... I'd recommend looking for those.

you said it jason. even the original was a few years ahead of its time.
relient k make exceptional acoustic songs, as evidenced by the apathetic ep, so i expect great things from this song as well.
