I've been thinking alot about what Jason said about Ocean Ave. being the album that defines his life, and I was wondering what it is for others on the board. I also though about what it was for me.
My pic would either be The ataris- blue skies/end is forever, because eif is a continuation. End is forever would probablly get the nod though. Especially "song 13", which got me into a lot of punk music.
What are your thoughts?

i have no cd that 'defines' my life'...that would be creepy
it's way too tough to chose only one, but as for right now, i'd go with led zepplin 4

i dont really have an album that defines me.......but i do hold Green Day's Kerplunk! close to my heart, because everytime i listen to it it reminds me of my youth and less stressful times......

Right now I would have to say Ocean Avenue because alot of the songs are about memories and being away from people he loves. This is exactly how I am feeling right now cause alot of my friends are going to other states for college and Im staying close.

my album that defines my life has to be TAKING BACK SUNDAY "tell all your friends" it just i mean everything on that album i have been through in one way or another

The Organ Doners all the way. They are an OH band. They sing songs about duct tape, taking a dump, and detours. You can't get any closer to everyday life than that.

I'm so tired of ppl posting that they think a band sucks and not explaining why. If you think Weezer sucks so much, then please feel free to share with the class why you feel that way. If you just randomly make statements that strong without proof or backing it up it looks like you're just stating something other ppl feel and say.
And if you think Weezer sucks, then you haven't really understood the mind of Rivers. I mean take a listen to "The Blue Album" and "Pinkerton." Those are some amazing songs, lyrics, chords, riffs, etc. Rivers is a musical genius and you just may not understand his thought process. And you probably haven't seen them live!!!
I'll admit "The Green Album" sucked, but "Maladroit" was pretty solid. To me that was a straight up ROCK record. It contained some amazing guitar hooks....it's just the lyrics weren't anything comparable to their first two (2) albums.

What's going on with them anyhow? Their whole site went down a few months back, and if everything went as planned, the 5th album should have long been out by now. The planed 1 every year, because Rivers wrote something like 200 songs.

They are supposed to be coming out with a new album. Weezer is one of my favorites!
I am pretty sure they are recording now. Rivers better not disappoint me again.

I heard that too, but they must have got set back. I can't wait till it comes out though! I'm having a Weezer avatar made, I should have it in a week.
