Great show. I've heard reports of Conor being "aloof" and not talking...blahblah but he was fine. He was even making jokes and took a request. Someone was yelling for First day of my life the whole show and Conor finally was like "Listen....we have a thing called rehearsal where we decide what we're gonna play so it's not always easy to take requests..." well, after about 5 mins of cheering/clapping and so on after they finished the set, the band took the stage and Conor goes..."you know what? we're gonna be good sports tonight." and then they kicked into First Day of My Life.
Also, people as usual were yelling shit at him between songs and he's like "You know, theres an invisible force feild between the stage and barrier....I cant hear a word any of you say!"...immediately after that some girl says "Conor, you're so hot!" and Conor goes "Except that!" Ok, I'm done rambling but it was an amazing show and nice to hear The Calendar Hung Itself.

I love Bright Eyes shows, last time I saw him was in a park in Omaha, it was a free show.
the entire day it was so hot, and everyone was sitting in the grass waiting until the show started, it was too hot to do anything else. Conor went on at 6 I think and right when he went on it started pouring rain, it was fucking beautiful!

Eh. I wouldn't want to see them just play most songs off the new record. But that's what bands do, so .. whatever.

On the digital ash tour, he was like, (after about 50 people screamed out "BOWL OF ORANGES!!") "LIsteen this is a tour to promote my album Digital Ash In a Digital Urn, so I'm gonna play song from that record....This next song is about..." So I'm stoked that he's playing a variety of songs and Calender is one of my favorites, so I can't really complain. I was hoping for June on The West Coast though...

I'm jealous that you got to see The Calendar Hung Itself. The only older song he played when I saw them was Laura Laurent, which was awesome, but not as awesome as a song from F&M.
