yea... i think so. they took stuff from alot of their older issues. I think part of the Billie Joe interview is from 1996.

the screamo article is really good. it would have been perfect if they had included FATA.

Mike is an excellent punk bassist. and I dont get the teenage picture thing...because it didnt really make sense. But some of you make me sick.

all he is is a bassist. bass is easy. he's not that talented.

it depends what you are playing? could you, greg, play any bass arrangement written by Flea of RHCP? probably not. can it, bitch, bass takes every bit of talent that guitar, drums, or singing does.

Bass is not necessarily easy. Thats a stereotype. Although, its really easy if youre playing Green Day songs. :D

But I am in the process of learning The Decline, and let me tell you, It is no easy task. Far from it.

okay i know what you mean. its not nothing. but it's not really that hard. it's hard punk wise. most punk is just following along with the root note. this at least has some fills and other stuff. i'll admit it's good. but it only took me a night and a morning to learn. all i do is play my bass and guitar. learning new stuff is never that hard to me.

When i started bass, the first bands who's songs i played were, blink 182, mxpx, NOFX, and screeching weasel. No offense but fat mike isn't that great of a bassist. on the rancid/nofx split he only played root notes, because he didn't want to take time to figure it out........ I just looked at the decline, and it is all root notes.

i have never heard a NoFx song with a great bassline, but he does a good job on some of the Gimmes stuff.

People who play multiple instruments, like Greg can learn songs faster then those who only play one instrument.
