So, i'm depressed over being in love with a guy in another country, and stuff at home which includes my mom's alcholic boyfriend. Although he's in prison, drink driving, she still treats me like crap. Always putting my brother before me, and I can never do anything right. I'm not looking for sympathy, just anyone who is going through something similar.

Sucks cause the person I need to talk to treats me like crap. I'm planning on running away in July to my dad after my 18th birthday, but I keep having second thoughts for some reason.

how do you know? me and my girlfriend have a long distance relationship for most of the year. its hard, but it definitely works

yeah i know how you feel. im in the same situation except its my dad i live with. i have and evil step mom who treats me like shit. my little brother is her and my dads kid. he is the king . hes 11. they treat him so royaly no lie. im not alllowed to see my real mom. its not like i miss her or anything cuz i dont know her but its really not cool that im not allowed to see her. everyone whould get the chance to know their own mother ya know? well yeah what i do is surround myself with my friends and stay gone. you just have to find out who your real friends are and stick with them

Actually, you're kinda right. But mom wants me to finish HS and has no idea i'm doing it, so running away was the first thing that came into my head. I guess it's really leaving without telling my mom at 18.

The relationship isn't through myspace BTW haha. I wouldn't do that, even though I do have a myspace. Yet I do think it's not worth it sometimes.

i dont give a shit about the final fantasy universe of losers either, i don't own any of the games. i would try and find a party member but i don't actually care.

Well I really don't think Long distance relationship works is really hard though, but if you think your dad will be better, then go.

if you think the guy's really worth it, try the long distance thing.
but i've found that long distance relationships are usually more pain than actual happiness. unless you can often see the person.
maybe it's just me, but i say look around near where you are.
i recently went through something similar, finally gave up on the long-distance thing, and i'm a lot happier.
