I went to see MCR last night and this had to be the most amazing show of my entire life. Now, I know I will get crap for this but I went there not knowing anything by Muse and expecting not to like them but I have to admit that they were really good and put on an aweosme show. They had these huge balloons thrown out during their last song filled with confetti so everytime they poped we were covered in white confetti. Bob and Ray from MCR were helping throw the balloons out so that was pretty funny seeing them carrying huge white balloons and trying to throw them into the crowd.

After Muse there was a killer 45 minute break to set up for MCR but it was worth it. Gerard came out on a strecher to a loud heart monitor that is at the beginning of The End.

Setlist:
The End
Dead!
This Is How I Disappear
The Sharpest Lives
Welcome To The Black Parade
I Don't Love You
House Of Wolves
Cancer
Mama
Sleep
Teenagers
Disenchanted
Famous Last Words

Blood (over the speakers during the set change)

I'm Not Okay
Cemetery Drive
Give 'Em Hell Kid
You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prision
Helena

They had confetti shot into the crowd during Welcome to the Black Parade, huge pyro effects during Mama and Famous Last Words, and had sparks from the ceiling during Disenchanted. Gerard played with a huge spot light during Teenagers. So overall, this was the greatest night of my life, I have been waiting for this concert for 2 years and it was worth the wait.

Hmmmm,

Seems like they cut the second set down a bit. At the Nassau Colisuem show it was a full 8 songs. No worries about not knowing Muse, but glad you enjoyed them. They're a much better band than MCR (and even Gerard Way would admit that).

They cut it down due to Gerard having messed up his ribs a few days before. Yeah, I do have to admit Muse was much better than I expected, but MCR is and will always be my favorite band.
