Nope. But Grenade Jumper was a pleasant surprise. I know they played it in Australia, but I wasn't expecting to hear it.

Holy shit. That is an amazing set. Grenade Jumper is the biggest surprise I've ever seen in my life pretty much.

If this is the set for the Civic tour I will be happy. And actually...that set could even be longer.

I would really like to see The Pros and Cons of Breathing, but they probably havent played that in forever...also they could have at least played the song that their fake name was made from:)

Only 5 newer songs is kind of surprising. They should let me write the setlist:) haha

Here's what I would want/somewhat realisticly (singles included, songs they might consider playing)...their set was pretty sweet though!

Tell That Mick
Our Lawyers
Calm Before the Storm***
Dance Dance
Dead on Arrival***
Hum Hallelujah
Nobody Puts Baby
Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes***...FIXED
A Little Less 16 Candles
Gin Joints
Thriller
XO
Switchblades and Infidelities***
The After Life of The Party
Honorable Mention***
Sugar We're Going Down
This Ain't A Scene

Saturday

To me that would be the ULTIMATE fall out boy set. the songs with *** are songs I doubt they would play.

damn, i hope this set doesn't mirror that of the honda civic tour. my ideal set would consist of no FUCT (however, this is unrealistic due to the hit singles it produced), a lot from the new album and some oldies but goodies from TTTYG.

Yeah, we figured they were saving newer stuff for Honda Civic. (And Patrick said he's been practicing Golden on another instrument and mimed playing piano, so that'll be a fun switch-up. Actually, he said he's been practicing on another instrument, and Pete goes "the skin-flute?" HA!)

I frankly expected more songs from TTTYG, but I'm extremely satisfied. :)

Yeah that makes sense. i hope thats the case.

honestly, i think people need to wise up. If a band just made a new CD and theyre out on tour, they're gonna play the new stuff. They did'nt make a new disc for their health. We all love the old favorites, and they will throw them in here and there, but realistically if your going to see a band, expect to hear their most rcent stuff. it'll make for much less of a let down when they dont play that song you were so into 2 years ago. just sayin'.

Solid set list... I wouldn't be surprised if they play something very similar to this on tour. It'd be nice to switch "Don't You Think I Know Who I Am?" for "Golden" and add "Chicago Is So Two Years Ago" and "Dead On Arrival."

It doesn't seem like they are playing "Dead On Arrival" anymore though. They didn't play it on the FOE tour, but we'll see if they play it on the HCT. I'd expect about 5-6 from the new album, 6-7 from FUCT, 3-4 from TTTYG, and 1 from EOWYG though.

While Hainzey_X is right about what songs bands usually play on tour, I think that FOB is an exception. Or atleast I hope they will be. I'm pretty sure they are aware that mostly all of their fans say TTYG is their best record, and hopefully they will realize that and play a good portion of TTYG songs. Atleast DOA but Chicago is So Two Years ago would be ace.

I actually only expect us to get Saturday, Calm Before the Storm, Grand Theft Autumn, and Tell that Mick from TTTYG....we MIGHT get Honorable mention too but thats it from the older stuff:(

Hopefully I am wrong. I could see them playing Chicago too though..that's one of their staples....I guess I just with I could see them play the pros and cons of breathing....also Calm before the strom and Dead on arrival are great songs too....but I've seen those ones live already I guess

okay now I'm pissed. I had no idea they were playing at chain.
their civic tour date was supposed to be the 2nd but then it got pushed back so I didn't really pay attention to anything...

damn it.

i went to the show also and was expecting to see them play "switchblades" because they put themselves under that pseudo-name and was disappointed when they didnt... have they ever played "carpal tunnel of love" at any show yet? i'd love to hear that live.

chcougar1

yeah i asked them to play Switchblades when i saw them in March 2005 and Patrick said they had a different drummer back then...Therefore, maybe Andy never learned it cuz its so old?

It's amazing..a few years ago I saw them play with Midtown, The Academy Is, and Gym Class Heroes at a small club for $12. I'd give anything to go back to that.
