Say Anything was experiencing some technical difficulties, thus their (slightly) shorter set and Max's solo turn on "Total Revenge." Either way, it was an amazing show and both bands were really energetic and seemed excited to be there. At one point Chris said something about how he "never wanted to play another city again." Also, did anyone notice how before Say Anything went on, they must have played through at least half of Madonna's Greatest Hits over the speakers?

both the bands were so so good! im so excited for the new sa album. the crowd was actually somewhat decent except for that group of guidoish guys who clearly did not belong. and i def noticed the madonna tracks, that was sorta bizarre. oh and kenny vasoli came out during belt and admit it. he has been at the electric factory 3 out of the 4 times ive been there.

Good show, but Say Anything's set was kind of a bummer....
The Dear Hunter wasn't bad, but nothing special, Meg & Dia were pretty enjoyable to me and covered Blind Melon's The Rain, which was cool. My first time seeing Saves the Day and they were real good, ton of energy, good song selection, and they were on point, and their new drummer was pretty good too. Then...
Say Anything opened with Alive, which was real good, then there was a problem with Jake's guitar and/or pedals, no music for atleast 2 minutes while Jeff talked to the crowd. Then Max borrowed Jeff's guitar and played Total Revenge electric, which was pretty cool, but Jeff didn't come on for that solo-riff thing at the end of the song, Max just sung "do, do do...." Belt was real good and Kenny from The Starting Line came out for it, just as he had done last tour in Philly, but last time he came out "We Will Erase..." I'm pretty sure. Next highlight was Metal Now. I had never seen it and it came out pretty well, probably the highlight for me of their set. The new song wasn't bad, seemed pretty cool, but nothing amazing. AWTH was good, but it was damn near impossible to hear Max's acoustic (yet another technical difficulty). Also during the set when they had more difficulties in between songs someone from the band goes over the mic something like "Is this fucking serious, does this happen all the time?" You could tell that the band was not on point because of the difficulties. Before they came out for the encore, they started playing a phone ring for Wow, which I thought was real cheesy, it just wasn't good. Admit was a solid end song and Chris from STD came out for the end. Overall they played pretty well, but with the tech. difficulties resulting in minute long gaps between some songs and an 11 song set, it kinda bummed me out and my friend and I left very disappointed.

i was here. Max was so angry, as were the rest of the band, and rightfully so. The Electric Factory fucking blows. I dont usually have a problem with it, but they kinda put a damper on a show i was really looking forward to. Both Saves The Day & Say Anything's New songs sounded awesome. I love Chri's stage presnce. He seems like such an awesome dude and an all around good guy who is stoked to be playing music. Max is just an all around goofball. Did anyone see his outfit ? ahha such a lunatic, but i love em'. The solo "total revenge" was amazing ! All around, good show !

Yeah, great show. I feel bad for Say Anything cause of the sound problems, but they still managed to make a good time. Admit It!!! live is always amazing. My only problem were the douchebags screaming Saves The Day during Say Anything's set, booing Say Anything when the sound went out, and the high level of Bros. I've noticed that more and more shows I go to, Bros are overtaking the crowd.

This was my 7th time seeing Saves The Day and I thought they brought alot of energy tonight. I was a little disspointed with the lack of older material but they did a good job with the songs they did play.
As for Say Anything this was the 6th time seeing them and probably the worst. I couldn't hear anything Max was saying and they played way to sloppy for me. The long pauses and techinal difficultes didn't help as well. Plus, still no Orgy Of Critics which I thought they were going to play last night.

That's one of the best Saves The Day setlists I have seen in a long time. That has so many of my favorite songs on it.

also, keep in mind that this is a CO-headlining tour, also, saves the day's songs tend to be much shorter (2:50-3:00) in some cases shorter.
and yes, the new song sounds sweet. i think we may be getting that new double disc much earlier then we thought cause it seems like they're really getting close. when i seem them at the starting line holiday show in philly, they played another new number, acoustic called "this is fucking ecstacy."
