Pierce The Veil Officially Sign With Equal Vision

Pierce The Veil (http://www.myspace.com/piercetheveil) has officially announced their signing with Equal Vision Records (http://www.equalvision.com). The label will release the bands debut, A Flair For The Dramatic, on June 26th (http://www.absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=2772).

So they are really taking this less of name change and more of a completely new act - that's cool.

I wonder how much has been done to remix/remaster or what additional songs were added/removed from the version that leaked months and months ago.

The leak was in fact very very positive - especially considering their brand of music isn't something I get too excited for. It seemed fairly diverse and they have a good thing going. I deleted the leak after I found out they had made the name change and threw the songs up on their myspace.

I felt the same way, I don;t listen to much heavier type music and I really enjoyed the leak.

Of the now defunct Before Today plus 2 new members, who also were signed to equal vision, so if you enjoyed Before Today, you'll love Pierce The Veil.

This album is fucking amazing.
Its very high on my lists of favorites of 07 thus far, but NO ONE would have ever guessed haha ;]

This release is going to be amazing. I heard the leak awhile back and I am super excited for this release. This album is AMAZING. This CD and the new Circa Survive are going to be the albums of the year without a doubt. I hope they add some new songs or remaster some of the older songs. I can't wait...

There is nothing to miss.
This is practically the second before today album, they simply got replacements for bass and second guitar and changed the band name.
The only ones that wrote the music were Vic and Mike, who are still in Pierce The Veil.

I'm a fan since the Early Times era too, oh how far have they come since then.

Pierce the Veil is one of the most exciting bands I've heard in a while. I didn't really know of their old band until I found them on myspace. I've played the music on my podcast a couple of times and am REALLY excited to hear the full album.

By far one of the MUST HAVE albums of 2007. I'll be buying it on June 26, for sure.

By the way...I'm interviewing Vic for the June 26th Episode of the show (CD release day!).

I saw Before Today with Circa Survive and Gatsbys American Dream at a tiny venue a couple of years ago. It was amazing. They were pretty good, but his scream is kinda goofy.
