MxPx (http://www.absolutepunk.net/mxpx) had a few guests appear on their new album, Secret Weapon (http://www.absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=2467&c=3). Bad Religion (http://www.absolutepunk.net/badreligion) guitarist Brian Baker contributes to "Secret Weapon," singer Tim Pagnotta of Sugarcult (http://www.absolutepunk.net/sugarcult) can be heard on "Shut It Down," and former Superdrag frontman John Davis helps with piano and backing vocals on "Sad Sad Song."

I thought so too. Not too long ago Benji was on some radio station and said he had been in the studio with MXPX the day before and had sang on the new record

awesome. John Davis is awesome. He did the backing vocals on Relient K's "Let It All Out"

piano?

damn, that's not good

Hmm, maybe this record will end up being pretty good.

Minus the appearance of Benji Madden.

It is. Amazing.

I can't wait to hear it. Is it an older sound that they went for, or along the same lines that Panic was?

Oooh, nice. This might be the surprise of the year for me.
