anthony green has an amazing voice and is one of the best live vocalist i've seen, he's energetic as hell and he's been involved with so many great bands, so he takes it by far but craig is really good too

Sound exactly the same. Maybe the drumming is a little different, but for the most part, their fills are identical. And Green and whats his face sound no different from each other.

I have never seen Circa Survive live ... and I only just saw Saosin last month, so he was not in the band. Therefore I wouldn't know if I would 'touch myself' seeing him live. hahaha

anthony is a faerie-beast though, so he has a much better stage presence. i just like craig's voice more live.

Anthony Green is ridiculous...and I think Chiodos are decent but honestly, Craig's vocal aren't anywhere near Anthony's. And CS is an absolute trip to listen to... maybe because those guys like the white pony so much ;)... I love Circa Survive.

Old Saosin is so much different (better) than new Saosin. Are you deaf? More screaming, more real guitar work, better vocals, better lyrics, better songs... the list goes on. The band totally changed to accomodate Cove. It's a shitty attempt at a new kind of music and just ends up sucking and sounding really generic.


Anyway.

Anthony Green has a better voice. The thing that amazes me about Craig Owens is how he can go from screaming to really high vocals seamlessly. Chiodos and Circa Survive were the two best live performances I've ever seen. Anthony gets the vote solely for his better sounding, easier to listen to voice.

I think Anthony Green has recorded some quality stuff, and Craig Owens not so much. I caught enough of them both at warped tour to say I prefer Green. I'd argue the same for TSOAF dvd and cds. Green can pull off that chill melodic stuff quite well... Owens accapella tracks... ick. I can't listen to Chiodos because of the vocals.

They get in the way of my enjoyment of sweet technical guitar riffs and drum noodling. All I want to hear in my music is the sweet sound of some pretentious, douche bag, self-proclaimed virtuoso intellectually masturbating through the speakers.

Well you did claim that their bands were "boring" and that "there is nothing complex" about them, which incenuates that any band less complex than these bands must also be boring. For the most part, the bands that have stories on this website aren't very "complex" at all. A lot of them are crappy and extremely unoriginal. At least Circa and Chiodos have distinguishable sounds. And you HAVE to give them that. Not many can hit the high notes as cleanly as their singers, and the only bands that sound EXACTLY like them, came after them.

If that has no bearing on you, perhaps I should justify myself altogether. Basically I was criticizing your ridiculous elitist statement. No one appreciates it, and no one thinks you're much more intelligent or knowledgeable about music when you say things like that. It just makes you look like an asshole. Perhaps you should reconsider your phrasiology next time so you won't sound like a total pretentioius douche bag. And also, if you're going to make a claim like that, back it up, anyways. I could understand if you just said you disliked the bands. That's your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it. I like both for their own reasons to hard to pick for me, every project both have been on are awesome. Craig stage presence is awesome when I saw him with Chiodos, going to see Circa soon hopefully so can't say anything in that region about Anthony. I would say Anthony is a better singer but I think Craig has more diversity to his voice. I like Anthony's Solo stuff way more than Craigs so I suppose I will go with Green
