so, how long until school starts for you, and what classes are you taking?

for me its on monday, and i'll be taking:

AP Spanish 4
AP English 3
AP US History
AP Computer Science
AP Calculus AB
AP Calculus BC
Pre-AP Physics
Applied Music (guitar)

I'm kind of worried because I ahve to take a lot of hard classes this year and I know I'm going to fail Calculus. But, I'm kind of ecited to see my friends again and also next semester I'll be learning to play the guitar, which will be fun.

11th, my Junior year. I barely passed Pre-cal last year, mainly because I didnt try. It'll be hard to apply myself this year, but I'm going to have to do it somehow.

Enlgish 12, which is really 4 smaller, 1-quarter classes of my choice, not sure what I'll take yet
And a study hall (sr privelage, i get to leave), and lunch(sr privelage). That's all 8 periods. What a kickass simple year, except for AP gov't im worried about, because the summer assignmetn SUCKED.

wow. your classes sound really interesting. can i trade with you?

i get to take a speech class at the local college here. its a basic level speech course and the college sucks, but i dont want to take the one at my high school.

i took oral commuications last year, and i had to give nine speeches that semester. i loved it. i learned a lot. i think my classes will be good.

I was offered to do post secondary (thats where you go to high school for half the day and college for half the day). I'm sure you knew what post secondary was. I turned it down because I didn't feel like doing all that work.

Oh yeah. I did some post secondary last year. I had a couple of friends doing it with me so it was pretty fun. But yeah... it was a lot more work.

I'm to lazy to do it. They offered it to me my junior year and this year, but I didn't feel like it. I get to leave early this year, which is good so I can work to save for college. I've gotten a few scholarships but they aren't worth very much.

I think it's slightly different in Canada, I'll be in the 11th grade. I'm taking all the science courses because I want to be a pharmacist or optometrist, and I'm getting closer to getting my bilingual certificate...it's going to be a long year. :(

If you're interested in it, AP gov't. really shouldn't be any problem...I loved the material, and did well as a result. My average for the year was 100 out of 110.
