Ok, I kinda sway everywhere on the "punk" meter, liking stuff from older NFG, to Rancid, to DKM, to Glassjaw, and tons of other stuff, but I've come to the conclusion that I am most at home with Finch and Story of the Year. I was wondering if anyone knows of any bands that are about that same intensity.. they can sing and then they throw in some screaming, but not an overwhelming amount. Does anyone know what I mean?
Thanks in advance if you help. :)

Umm, yeah...like 80% of "punk" bands coming out nowadays. That sound is rapidly playing itself out. Here are some bands to help you out:
Matchbook Romance
Senses Fail
Bleed the Dream
Beloved
This Day Forward(new stuff)
Haste(new stuff, older stuff is heavier with more screaming)
Boy's Night Out
My Chemical Romance
Saosin(not really akin to any of those bands but they're worthy of a name drop)

I like Haste....

Note
Beloved, Haste, and Boy's Night Out are all on the heavier side
and This Day Forward(especially their old stuff) isn't as accessible and catchy as Story of the Year and Finch. But they are all good bands.
