i saw from first to last at bamboozle on sunday for the first time since sonny left. i thought it was horrible but some people around me were saying they were better off. what do you think?

but I will admit that i used to jam out to some Emily, or the "Hidden Track" ..or Kiss Me...

but .I cant stand that band, or album anymore...and the last one was shit...

yeah....unfortunately Epitaph sent me their last album to review and i almost sold a free cd without reviewing it....but i gave them what they wanted and told them that Sonny pretty much sucked the biggest set of balls in existence....glad that the band figured it out before the label dropped them....well...maybe i'm not so glad....both would have been nice.

They were at their best before Sonny even joined the group. Aesthetic was a good pop-punk album with the occasional scream and breakdown, and Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count wasn't exactly a bad album sans for Sonny's horrible fucking vocals. Personally, they are better off, even if their next album sucks ass much ass as Heroine.

Aesthetic and Dear Diary... were both cool to listen to at least. Both of which were written by Matt Good. Sonny tried writing AND singing and apparently it was too much for him because I really didn't care for him in Heroine, the music was still cool though. For the new album they'll still have the music and I prefer Mr. Good over Sonny anyway. I think it will be worth listening to at least, which is more than i can say for most other bands.

Better Without Sonny.. Matt needs to work on his vocals a little bit maybe.. But they are what they are.. People are going to love them and people are going to hate them...

Better with him. I know he doesn't have the best voice, but I never understood all the hate. The guitarist doesn't sound too good from the live videos I've seen, and Sonny's solo stuff is awful. I do agree that Aesthetic was awesome though. So catchy. What ever happened to Phil?

i've never been a huge fan.. i only listen to emily, note to self, and ride the wings of pestilence.
but when i watched them at bamboozle, they didn't seem the same.
so i guess i'd have to say they're better WITH sonny.. but it really doesn't affect me if he's in it or not since i'm not really into them that much.

I think Heroine was better than any of their previous stuff musically but Sonny's vocals were kind of overbearing. the Aesthetic EP was pretty good, I think Matt will make a great full-time singer.

I really enjoyed their dear diary album, I thought about buying Heroine until I saw them on fuse, being babies about the moniters and that they were playing the Hurley stage, then I saw their video and heard the single, and knew for sure I wasn't going to buy it.

This band sucks. Another average screamo band that sounds like a million other bands. No clue how they got as big as they are. Ive met them and they are all dick heads, especially Sonny so I guess they are a little bit better off with out him. Some how he managed to make even worse music with this crappy solo project.
