And the day after their CD release is July 25th, just FYI. There's nothing special about that day, but it is one day after the release.

The building is still there. It didn't get torn down or catch fire or anything. But it belongs to the "we are marshall" crowd now.

Monkey Bar?

Yeah, my friends and I owned HYAMP but sadly it doesn't exist anymore. Not quite sure what's being done with the actual building, but it was sold and we had no say in it. So we just have to do shows wherever we can now. Most likely i'll be setting up the show at the Monkey Bar and if not there then the YWCA. We should have it confirmed within the next few days.

i could have sworn i heard rumors about the monkey bar closing. maybe it wasn't true...
but even if it is at the monkey bar, if you're under 21 you can't get in without a parent. and i know my dad won't want to go. uhh,
special circumstance?

That sucks. sorry to hear it.

you should consider coming down to Roanoke Va and opening something up. Theres a serious need. ;-)

No worries about that, the show would be ALL AGES with no parents or anything needed, i'll make sure of it. I did the Armor for Sleep tour there and did it that way, so I know it's allowed. There wouldn't be alcohol even visible to underage people, they set up a room you need an ID to even get into. But yeah, I wouldn't do the show if it couldn't be all ages.

I wish, it's hard work and pretty time/money consuming, I've seriously thought about trying to in other cities once I finish up college (about a semester left to go), so who knows, maybe I still will. I'm still doing shows around Huntington, I took a break but am getting back into it now.

I bet, im sure you have to deal with alot of crap. But if you ever do think of spreading out to other areas, keep roanoke in mind. We've got a pretty big population, and litterally not a single permanet place to have smaller scale shows. Theres biiig oppurtunity around here for a place like Hyamp.
