Mainly because of his lyrics, I really respect the guy for fighting his sickness and all, but I can't stand his lyrics, they didn't get any better with JM either. I know a lot of people like him, that's just what I think. And JT was only a joke/sarcasm, take it easy.

Well, Andrew is an amazing singer live and I think his lyrics are really fucking good. In fact I have "holiday from real" tatooed on myself and if you don't think he's a good lyricist, then you should listen to North by SoCo...i think that'll change your mind.

If anyone on the poll had written a song like drunk girl, punk rock princess, or if u c jordan they wouldn't be up there either. I do love cavenaugh park and konstantine though, so i can like him i think but i just don't like his writing style. Too... poppy? idk what it is. Plus i haven't listened to all of north, only leaving... i'll give it a chance one day.

Nor do I. But honestly, I haven't heard some of these bands. So I just went with Rickley. He doesn't have the greatest voice, but his lyrics are really fucking good. Craig Owens, by comparison, has really lameass lyrics and melodies, but a pretty unique voice.
