I really enjoy this man. Ballgame is one of my all-time favorite songs.

kevin devine/brand new/manchester orchestra. 12 people on that stage playing holland. in-fucking-credible. and then there were like 16 playing welcome to bangkok at the end of BN's set :)

"yeah, when you realise it's a pattern, and not a phase, it's what you've become, and it's what you will stay. that's the ballgame."

yeah. it only makes sense that kevin and jesse are longtime friends, if you ask me they're the best lyricists out there by a longshot.. no one comes close.

hahahah that line was perfect for me the end of last year. my girlfriend broke up with me, and we were pretty serious, so i was feeling like shit, but then shes bipolar and had to deal with being kicked out of her house and guys taking advantage of her when shes drunk (which is much her fault, but still) and a most of her friends stabbing her in the back and yeah.

Mmm, indeed.

I haven't gotten into Put Your Ghost To Rest as much as I have his other albums. I'm not quite sure why, but I do enjoy it.

Yes one of my favorites.
Ballgame and Longer That I'm Out Here are two of my most favorite songs ever. He deserves so much more credit.

I always feel stupid for feeling bad about life because it's is so comfortable and that line sums it up well.

yeah i mean i just complain about how shitty southern maryland is and about how complacent i am here and how i dont really care much for the people here and how i feel empty, but then i look at how im living in middle class and have the ability to eat to my fill 4 times a day and i have 3 guitars and two keyboards and an amazing computer and a stereo and a big TV and a lot of people that care about me and a nice, air conditioned house while people in africa are starving and getting raped and catching diseases and living in huts and walking 6 miles every night to go sleep in mass in warehouses and lost all their family and shit. so yeah.

The Live @ Emmanuel College recording is great. I love all the little stories he threw in between songs.

Kevin Devine is spectacular, one of my favorite singer/songwriters. I got a chance to open for him last saturday in Poughkeepsie, he told me he liked my music, it was the best day of my life.

I had one song on the 2nd ap members comp.

I'm gonna get some live cuts from that show with KD up on my myspace soon, plus I'm gonna try to record some good quality stuff this winter
