Sweet Jesus - no one mentioned the Dntel cover. Final Fantasy has a song based off that (The Dream of Win and Regine).
I can live without Alan Hull, but Harvest Mood would have been bamf, though Heart of Gold would have been more bamf. And while Recycled Air is everyone's least fav. PS song, it's in my Top 3.
Good set list. BGKersey - you always seem to get the real set lists from people. Do sleep around a lot? Touch their junk?

I sleep around (sofa to sofa)... no touching of junk though. (I also write down the set list on my phone as the set is going on)

And this show was amazing... sorry I only posted the set list but it was 2 am when I got back.
Quick review:
Johnathan Rice started out pretty weak, but his song choices improved as he played. Gibbard came out and played piano and sang with him on his second to last song. I had heard the crowds were horrible for Rice and Bazan on this tour, but they were (a little) respectful at this show.
Bazan was decent. This was my fifth time seeing him and I thought his song choices were a little weak here. But I worship the guy so I'll enjoy whatever he plays. He took one question from the audience (from me) and I asked him who was going to be in "The Black Clouds" - his new band. He said he was not at liberty to say yet. He then announced that he had just signed to Barsuk and that they would be re-releasing his solo EP. He will then record with "David Bazan and the Black Clouds" for a 2008 release. barsuk.com for more info.
Ben Gibbard really blew me away. Seeing him play Postal Service songs along with all my favorite DCFC songs (my favorite being 405) was amazing. He was pretty interactive with the crowd and said that this was the first show that he was playing without a written set list. He immediately regretted saying that because for the rest of the show, people just yelled out songs.... over and over and over again. He announced he'd see us again real soon before "I Will Follow", then added... "actually in about four minutes" - this was of course greeted with thundering applause.
Neeless to say, a once in a lifetime show. It brought back a lot of memories from when DCFC ruled my cd player.

He's done is live a billion times. If you do a search, I'm sure you can find a pretty good copy, especially from KEXP.
I'd be curious to hear Couches in Alleys live. I love that tune.
