yeah you have to see both sides of thrice.

vheissu is fucking amazing, but for older fans of thrice its an acquired taste becuase the sound is a lot different.

Vheissu was a step up from TAITA. I think their new stuff will be their best yet. Even better than Illusion of Saftey. At least I'm hoping so.

way to not jump on the bandwagon and buy the cd a year and a half ago.... Artist In The Ambulance is still my favorite Thrice album, and probably always will be.

I find thrice a very hard band to get into, at least for me. I think vheissu is a great album, the earth will shake is my favorite song. But their sound has changed so much from all of their albums. I think that the first thrice album you listen to, that will be the only one you like

no bueno, i first heard AITA but i love vheissu. i dont think there is one song by this band that i dont like.

Buy it...just make sure you don't expect it to sound like their other albums. I find it easy to dismiss an album just because it sounds different than earlier work, but Vheissu is a great album.

It's going to be all the elements so I assume the fire one will be the hardest and the others will have the feelings that you get from them. It's Thrice, so it's going to be good either way.

Thrice is one of my favourite bands with Vheissu being my fav and IOS being 2nd. Can't go wrong with Thrice though imo.

Agreed. I can see why some people like their older stuff better, and maybe at face value that is understandable. But i think with Vheissu, Thrice has progressed the way a lot of other bands wish they could. Musically it is so much better than their previous work.
