Underoath (Saturday Night - 9:25-10:20 - Stage 2)

Once again these guys blew my mind. Most of the songs are in order, but I may be a little off in the middle. It was pretty insane where I was standing for the first few songs. Obviously missing song is A Boy Brushed Red but they weren't given as long of a set this year. But it still was amazing.)

In Regards To Myself
Returning Empty Handed
You're Ever So Inviting
A Moment Suspended In Time
The Blue Note
It's Dangerous Business...
There Could Be Nothing After This
To Whom It May Concern (not just the softer part, they played the whole song this time)
Young And Aspiring
Writing On The Walls
Everyone Looks So Good From Here

Encore:

I Don't Feel Very Receptive Today

As Cities Burn (Saturday - 2:05 - 2:35 - Stage 2)

Thus From My Lips, By Yours, My Sin Is Purged
Love Jealous One, Love
Admission: Regret (Scogin came out and crowd-walked/sang his part)
The Hoard (new-ish song)
Terrible! How Terrible For The Great City!
New Song (refered to as "song number 2" though on the tracklisting that's The Hoard)
Bloodsucker, Pt II.

Jonezetta (Friday - 5:20-5:50 - Stage 1)

Welcome Home
Popularity

A Llama Eats A Giraffe And Vice Versa
Pachycephalosaurus
Oh! Emetophobia!
If You Like Me Check Yes, If You Don't I'll Die
Naked Lunch or Your Owls Are Hooting (I can't remember which one)

The Chariot (Saturday - 5:15-6:00 - Stage 1) (not in order, possibly not all)

Die Interviewer (I Am Only Speaking In German)
And Then, Came Then
The Company, The Comfort, The Grace
Back To Back
They Faced Each Other
They Drew Their Swords
And Shot Each Other
Then Came To Kill

It should be pointed out that even though they had 45 minutes to play, they played all of those in 25 minutes, they could've played a lot more. Insane live show though, highly recommend it.

Chasing Victory (Saturday - 12:20-12:50 - Stage 1) (not in order)

Oceans Away
Unrequited Love
The Night Your Guardian Angel Fell Asleep
A Taste Of Your Own Medicine

I saw a bunch of other bands (MxPx, Anchor&Braille, PlayRadioPlay, The Satire, Gasoline Heart, The Wiitala Brothers, Future Of Forestry, Between The Trees, and Fireflight) but I didn't know enough of their material to get setlists.

Honestly, that was the least I've liked uO in the 3 times I've seen them.

"Let's play an old song." And then they played Young and Aspiring. That's not old. That was an album ago.

Dallas was there, they're on good terms. Why not play Sun Still Sleeps or something OLD old? Changing of Times?

Aaron Marsh was there, why not Some Will Seek Forgiveness?

I know the new album is good, but seriously, it's a festival, play some different stuff.

Showbread was amazing, I've got the set list, I'll post it when I get it out of my car. Josh started crying on stage when he was talking about Tae.

I didn't think I was going to like the new ACB, but they blew my mind. The new song was awesome.

Chariot was indeed great. Loved the intro and outro.

Seriously, FF5 was amazing. I've never danced so hard or seen better dance pits ever.

Cool Hand Luke was great. Maylene was phenomenal as usual.

I was really, really impressed by August Burns Red.

I could have done without AILD and Haste the Day.

As far as the smaller bands, check out http://www.myspace.com/martyrsprayer. They were great on Showcase Stage 2.

On Showcase 1, I caught Eversfield's set. Their last show is Friday, but they were good too.

SHOWDOWN, wow. 777 24/7. It was high voltage. Good to see them playing old stuff.

However, overall, I was severely disappointed with the weekend. I felt a little ripped off at 50 bucks, I felt like it could have been better. Indoor stage wasn't even open Friday, and no other bigtime Christian bands (mewithoutYou, Emery, Norma Jean). Cstone 2005 was much better I think.

Still had a good time with my friends and I can't wait for Illinois next month.

i havent seen copeland since their new cd came out and i think that the new songs would sound incredible live... but for a 9 song set list, that looks as good as it could get. awesome.

Conersrtone FL was sick!! My favorite bands there were As I lay dying, Underoath,
August Burms Red, The Chariot, As Cities Burn, MXPX, Haste the day, Family force five, MAylene and the sons of disaster, and of course, The Showdown. It was hot, but it was worth it!
I cant wait till next year! Rock On!

check out this awesome band!

probably tired of playing them, and they were only given 45 minutes. im seeing them on friday, and if there's no boy brushed red or impact of reason there will be words, said, haha. they're headlining, so im expecting at least an hour set or more.

the song sounded better live than the cd. (i love the lyrics, and i love his voice, but the music on that album gets so annoying to me.) i prefered the setlist from last year, but california was mindblowing, definitely.

i could see copeland having an amazing 18 song setlist if they were headlining... but i doubt they would ever do something like that. seeing aaron sing with stephen for anchor&braille was simply beautiful, though.

Haha. It was the most I enjoyed them.. maybe it was just the moment for me. I so lol'd when they said the "let's play something" old. My friend and I were like "when the sun sleeps?!" but sadly, no. im thinkin they may play it on their tour with maylene this next two weeks. im seeing them on fri and sat, so i'll let y'all know. if it happens, ill video it. and, they had played some will seek the past two years with aaron at cstone, so i was happy to have seen it, but "to whom it may concern" in its entirety was just as good, for me. and "there could be nothing after this" is my favorite DTGL song, and i didnt expect it, so definitely a very good set for me.

yeah. Showbread was amazing. thanks for postin' the setlist. if you PM it to me, i'll put it in this original post and credit you. me and a couple of my friends started chanting "ten more years" when everyone was asking for "one more song". ivory made showbread for me. (was happy to get josh's book, though)

my thoughts on ACB as well. such intensity. actually my favorite time watchin them. even when i saw them twice with tj.

im pretty much addicted to the chariot now. when the guitarist landed on me it was scary, but then it was amazing, definitely. scogin is king, haha.

FF5 always puts on a fun show, but they get no love on this site. i mean, dont take them serious, just dance and enjoy yourself. good times.

CHL was def. good for the one song i heard, i was exhausted from the day and went back to the hotel and icy hot'd up. i didnt watch maylene, chose Anchor&Braille since im seein Maylene on Fri and Sat. stephen (anberlin) and aaron (copeland) was a combo not to be missed in my mind.

skipped ABR for Copeland. but i really wish i couldve watched them. i bought their cd though, my burnt copy broke the other day.

i enjoyed Haste The Day and didnt watch AILD because I got amazingly close for Underoath.

my friend used to be the basist for Eversfied, but yeah, great guys. and i tend to stay away from the showcase stage 'cause of bad experiences there the last year. haha. and the worst band ive ever heard played on showcase 2 this year, haha. opened for showbread once, terrible.

i hate the showdown, so i was merch shopping... but you couldnt escape the terribleness, haha.

i definitely agree about the lack of Emery (who're recording right now, so understandable, but festival, come play an acoustic set or something) and mewithoutYou. Norma Jean should've been there, as they went on tour the very next day with Underoath and Maylene... Anberlin had every band member there, should've played as well. i saw the lead singer of Mae there as well, during haste the day's set he was off to the side singing along with every word.

i wasnt dissappointed really, saturday was a solid day of music, but last year's friday pwned this years. next year im goin to fl and il so im excited. still gonna have fun no matter what.
