Hey everyone,
As the title of the thread says, I'm looking to start a serious band in the greater Columbus area. I haven't had much experience fronting a band so far, but I've been singing since high school in one form or another. I don't have any formal training (though I would be interested in such in the future), but I've been a member of a chorus in college for more than a handful of quarters. I do have a band currently, but the other two members live 3 hours away. As one might assume, we're not particularly serious, and would be "disbanding" in a month or two as I make the Columbus area my permanent residence. To get an idea of what my voice sounds like, check out my current band's page http://www.myspace.com/ccerocks. Keep in mind none of the recordings were recorded with real recording equipment, and in all cases, we simply got together, ran through the song a couple times, and recorded it (besides whatever practicing we did on our own, of course). If anyone's interested or knows of someone, hit me up on aim at "ninety2ina45" or e-mail toosaucy@hotmail.com. Thanks for reading.
Eric
p.s. Haha. Though I do think I'm a good singer, I intended the word "Great" to be "Greater" in the thread's title. I'm not full of myself, I promise.
