They are an up and coming band from Irvine, CA and are 17,17,17,18,18, and 19. Recently they won Best High School band at the Orange County Music Awards. They have also just released their first album This Is...The Jakes.
Their sound is a mix of indie dance rock like the Killers and Franz Ferdinand and the pop sensibility of the Beach Boys. They are an exciting young group with one of the most energetic and fun live shows I have ever seen.
