I'm really starting to feel some enmity towards my mom. She pisses me off with all her orders. She makes me wash dishes every day. She has me go out and get her food. All she does is watch her soaps. She can be really nice at times but when she sees that I'm all alone and not doing anything she goes and finds something for me to do. I'm just so sick of her making me do shit for her day after day when she does little around the house. And I pretty much buy my own shit cause I've got a job so she really has no reason to have my do 90% of the chores.

My dad left me when I was 11 years old walked out on me and my brother, and sister. It was really hard on my mom, She was lucky she was the one making the bank in the house. She had to raise us while being both mother and father, taking me to school, football games, concerts and what not. By her being a single parent she started to get strict cus we are her only children and her only thing to live life for. While her being strict she started to be a bitch and me and her got in fights all the time, I would do a shit load of work around the house then she would not ever say thanks and then I would have to do something else cus it wasnt perfect. I dealt with it and moved on. Now I got a tattoo with my Love My Mom on it. What you need to do is sit down and talk with her, no matter how much work it takes

Maybe its her way of showing you attention? My friends mom always ordered her around. Thats only because her mom didn't know how to show her any other kind of attention. Is your mom a single parent? My mom was kind of a single parent and we had to do all the work around the house. Thats because she had two jobs though. My older brother practically raised me. Talk to your mom and ask her why she makes you do everything.

Your mom went through hours hours of childbirth pain to give life to you. She probably even has permanent stretch marks from you. The least you could do is do some things around the house.

Raising kids is harder than you think and she probably does more stuff than you see- like buy you food, pay rent for where ever you live etc. etc.

Chores suck. I know. I'm the oldest of 4 kids. Starting in 3rd grade i had to pack lunch for all of my brothers and sisters. About then i started having to do the dishes and my own laundry, cleaning bathrooms, etc. i used to absolutely HATE having to do chores. but now (gasp) im so appreciative of all the chores my parents made me do and all the responsibilities that were placed on me. i know other people my age who are also going off to college who have never had to do their own laundry or cook their own food because their parents have always babied them. so consider yourself a few steps ahead of most of your peers...

Take it as training. Someday you will have to do your own chores as well and it will suck when you're not used to it. And with your mom never doing anything, why dont you start getting her into some kind of hobby or something so she doesnt waste her time watching soaps.

Parents ask you to do chores and jobs around the house to help out. I'm 15 my mum and dad always ask me to help around the house. I don't like them but I understand why I have to do them. At 13 you're getting old enough to start taking responsibility for yourself.
At the age of 10 or 11 I was looking after myself and my sister who has behaviour problems and helping around the house. It prepares you and helps you learn what you're going to have to do when you own your own home. So it can't be that difficult.
I know chores and helping are really boring but as you get older you only have to do more of them so you may aswell get used to it.

One time she literally spilled a whole bunch food onto the kitchen floor right in front of me and then told me to clean it up. I think it probably is menopause though...
