I don't know about you guys, but I was pretty heart broken by this.

It should have been a goal, and it was a goal....the rule was overused during the regular season, and refs were way to strict in calling it. If the player caused interference with the goalie it should be no goal, there was no interference and I will always think they made the right call whether the rulebook said so or not.

remember the rangers devils series in 97? there was a fucking review on every goal. imo that's horrible for the game, as it slows down the pace of a game that is more exciting with speed. its a good thing they called it like that on the hull goal, because it set a precedent on how the rule should be enforced.

and the goal was heartbreaking not because of the legality of it, but becasue of the timing and the implicaitons of it.

And yes it seems that Buffalo will still have another year to wait till they win anything.

Buffalo will definately win a Cup before Toronto does, probably 29 other teams will. And the last title was the Jays, but since you only have 2 teams, I wont include that.

My jokes on Buffalo are probably getting a little old, Ill just go back to ragging on Detroit. I actually like Buffalo's team a lot, just like the Sens a lot more.

and then the next year with the goal through a hole in the side of the net. throw in that "lateral" in the bills-titans game and you can say buffalo had some terrible luck those 2 years.
