Moneen
May 10, 2007
The Mod Club, Toronto
The Song I Swore to Never Sing
Don't Ever Tell Locke What He Can't Do
If Tragedy's Appealing, Then Disaster's An Addiction
Are We Really Happy With Who We Are Right Now?
Start Angry....End Mad
There Are a Million Reasons for Why This May Not Work...And Just One For Why it Will
The Day No One Needed To Know
Tonight, I'm Gone...
No Better Way to Show Your Love Than A Set of Broken Legs
His Own Anomaly
This Is All Bigger Than Me
The Passing of America
ENCORE:
Wrath of the Donkey Remix
This was one of the most solid set-lists I've seen moneen play in a long time. I think they may have played a few more songs if there wasn't a curfew at the venue that night so they could go live-to-air. Anyway, they played a new song that's on The Red Tree Vinyl which was pretty sweet. Also Passing of America was amazing as always and Kenny helped a kid learn to stagedive. After watching him fail a few times, he called the kid back up on stage and gave him a few pointers. Then Haris threw him back into the crowd. It was awesome. For their encore they asked the crowd if we wanted them to play something new or old. EVERYONE in the venue yelled old and Kenny said then "why not go as old as we can" and they played the Wrath of the Donkey Remix. They put on an amazing and energetic show as always and I left the venue more than satisfied.
