1) Anyone who said anything along the lines of "thats not that bad" or "not as bad as I thought", you are fucking retarded, straight up. That was possibly one of the worst covers I've ever heard. I'm not even a big Avril "hater"...I'm not a fan, but serious? That was AWFUL.

2) The technical crew for that show should be fired. One of the worst live performances I have seen (from a technical standpoint)

3) Avril's cover of System of a Down's "Sugar" is much better.

I think you're confusing emotion with expression. She sings with ironic detachment; it'd work a little better if she was a good live singer, but she's not so it's just kind of boring. And like somebody said, it's not a particularly brilliant song.
