Here's a song I had to write lyrics for the night before I played it in concert:
It's called "Hold On Me".
Check out myspace.com/jordanleick for a few songs I've recorded.
Verse 1:
I'm a hole
In your jeans
And I grow and grow and grow
And there's no stopping me
So would someone stitch me up
While I lay here
Etherised
On the operating table
Spread across the sky
As the fog creeps in
Chorus:
You built your ceilings five-foot-six
So only one of us fits
I tie my temper to my wrist
Cuz I don't wanna lose it
You are so cold to me
You just don't notice me
Still, you've got a hold on me
Verse 2:
I will bolt
From the scene
In a suitcoat plaid and green
So stay away from me
The gold knife I stole I'm not afraid to use
In the news
There's a photograph of you
You and your crooked smile
I framed you so well this time
It's called "Hold On Me".
