Who does FOB need more? You have Patrick who is the brains behind the music. He writes all the music, makes the FOB sound. Then you have Pete who writes the Lyrics, promotes the band, and is the poster child. FOB might not succeed without both of them. But if you had to choose who would it be?

but i think pete is what gives the band the oomph, in the sense that he's always getting the name out there, doing interviews, speaking for the band. plus, he's an attention grabber.

If your refering to surviving musically, then it isn't a question. patrick writes all of the music, sings, and has written lyrics for them in the past. Pete's lyrics have decreased in quality over timeand he is considerably sloppy live. He does bring in the screaming teenage girls and MTV reps. But in the end it's the quality of music that matters.
