Ok..well, i think i might need some advice for this. you could say it's not really a problem but i keep thinking about it. I'm almost in tenth grade,and in my school, like everybody is so happy because they have someone else in their life. I mean like a bf or a gf, and it bothers me. well not those people, but just cause i've never even had a boyfriend and all my friends rub it in my face. and my parents and other "good" friends say i don't need one, but i just don't know...some advice? thanks

don't worry about it too much. a lot of people date earlier now. i've only had one boyfriend in my life and i know it gets lonely or whatever, but you have to realize most of the relationships your friends are in won't last longer than a few months. it's not a moral imperative to be dating someone anyway. you can live without a significant other, obv. plus most guys are asses. :]

Yea, there's no rush. Most of my friends dated before I did(My first girlfriend was Junior year of high school) and while they didn't rub it in, I noticed how unhappy they were half the time. Like everyone else said, don't rush it.

Also, for future reference, don't get hung up on a few shitty relationships. They're only paving the way and teaching you lessons for when you finally find someone who just completely clicks with you.

the one benefit of having a boyfriend is you get ass on demand. but honestly you're young see whats out there before you say you want a boyfriend. your what 15 years old ending 9th grade? i remember that was the best summer of my life. trust me go out with your friends and just have a good time as of right now. and if something comes along then go for it and give it a try, but the truth is boys only had unnecessary aggravation and stress.

All I can say is learn to make yourself happy without having someone. Relationships are complicated and can break your heart. Be content with friends, don't feel pressured to have sex or whatever, just chill. You will find that guy and it will just click. Rushing into relationships is terrible.

Best advice. You don't want you heart broken. Just have fun with your friends meet new people and that right guy that you like alot that likes you back will come around and you to will be happy together until then don't worry about it.

ahh this was exactly like meeee. But honestly, not having a boyfriend for so long was one of the best things I could have done. Seriously, you don't want to be one of those girls who has a boyfriend every other month, or get a bad reputation for being easy, a whore etc. Plus having a boyfriend is really stupid in highschool (yes, I know I'm hypocritical) there's just too much drama and stress. Anyways, your time will come :)
