Ok, here's my problem i just gota job as an office clerk. The work isn't hard but it's so boring and i get so lonely cause for like 6 hrs a day i sit in an office w/o anyone my age around. I want to quit but i've only been working for like a week and my parent are all proud of me and stuff. Plus i really need the cash cause i'm turning 17 in September and i really want to move out of my house and get a car and pay for my own college. What should i do?

I'd rather be doing something active. I mean i wouldn't want to babysit a bunch a kids or anything like that cause i'm no good w/ kids but some action would be nice! I wish there was some HOT guy my age who worked there atleast.

Hey, I pretty much do the same thing you do, go to work and just sit around and do nothing. But you really have to try and make the best of it. Over summer I worked 9 - 5:30 monday thru friday, its a bitch. And its an even bigger pain because I never got to see my girlfriend. But try and get your friends to visit you on lunch breaks, go out with them, bc then you have something to look forward to. Or doodle, thats fun, just try to make the best of it. The money pays off when you can do stuff and your friends can't bc they were lazy and didn't get jobs. Just my advice.

Holy fuck, where I work you literally get your hands cut off for looking at your phone during work hours, you load up on gadgets and sit on your ass all day and then have the audacity to come on here and bitch about it!?!

Yes I realise OP probably won't ever read this as post is like a year old but had to get that off my chest.

if you have a phone with internet just get on here. At least you have a job, though. Stick it out til you find a better one.

Well as a matter of fact kiddos I ended up quitting that job when I turned 18 and moved away from home with my boyfriend at the time for about a week...then my parents begged me to move back in.

Currently I live at home and go to school at UCLA...so it all worked out for the best I suppose.

If you're seventeen either be good at lying about your age on here, or actually put that your seventeen.
Work sucks, deal with it.

Edit: Lol the date. Whoops.
