This is my newest song and in the advice of some forum members I am just taking time to work on this one and am also only posting this one. Please let me know what you think and post any comments/suggestions that you have. This is a very important song to me and deals with a lot of stuff going on in my life right now. Thanks for the help.

To Cause The Demise of Your Reflection

Some things fall harder
Than the oaths we make to ourselves
From those dusty shelves
That we try so hard to maintain

Secrets high on pedestals inside our mind
Push them back and shake our heads
Into the backs of closets
We try to secure the things we might've slept on

Chorus: Please wave your hand over
Fold my eyes close
How much more of this am I
Going to have to see
How many times will I have to relive what you all can't believe?

That was me this wasn't him
Here in the collection of things I've done
Where don't you see my name?

Promises that I lied only to fulfill
His hands never touched
The scarlet that covers the words
In which I profess

Repeat Chorus

Reliving the time of things that should've died
His image in the mirror on my wall
Without a touch or hint of this blame

There's already her and so many sleepless night
Just let this die...
Just let this die...
One can only hang his head so low

And let him go...
And let him go...
Take me, let 'em go free
I'm the one that stood in the light
Putting myself to shame for all to see

Repeat Chorus

Let me know what you think I should add, take away, and/or replace. Thanks for the help guys.

What do you suggest I call it?

Maybe: "Killing Your Reflection"

It actually has a meaning. It's not just to sound 'cool'.
