I interviewed Tom, the guitar player of Fiddler Records newest band The Higher! Check it out!
Wark: How did you guys get hooked up with Fiddler Records ?
Tom: We were posted on AbsolutePunk.net and Amy Fiddler contacted us from there. We fell in love, inked up and now life is wonderful.
Wark: When is your EP coming out on Fiddler?
Tom: We think it's coming out sometime in October, and it's called "Star is Dead".
Wark: Beau Burchell produced your new Ep, how did you find out about him and come to get him to produce your CD ?
Tom: I dont remember where we heard of him, but we heard he was amazing. We emailed him, he replied and said he would do our ep.
We did it and the outcome was amazing. Beau is good
Wark: What do you think of the other bands on Fiddler Records ?
Tom: amazing amazing amazing, the bled record is so good, poulain is fabulous, and you have to love recover.
It's also so rad to come out on the same label that NFG and dashboard came out on. Everyone knows they are amazing!
Wark: your EP will have five songs on it ?
Tom: indeed
Wark: but you recorded six... which one didn't make it ?
Tom: and she was something special.....it shall be on a fiddler sampler soon
Wark: How long have you guys been a band ?
Tom: a little over a year
Wark: rockin'... what is your goal as a band ?
Tom: tour nonstop and deliver our music to the masses. We just want the kids to enjoy what we put out.
Wark: If Heaven Exists what would you like God to say when you arrive at the pearly gates ?
Tom: the party begins... is that good enough? haha were boring kids from vegas dude!
Wark: What turns you on?
Tom: when theres more girls than guys.
Wark: What turns you off ?
Tom: vice versa and jack in the box... they put fucking mayonaise on everything..sick fucks!
Wark: who do you want to tour with ?
Tom: so many bands.....speaking for myself if i had to pick one it would fo sho be new found glory.
Wark: alright cool... anything else you'd like to add that you want kids to know or anyone reading this to know ?
