Angels and Airwaves (http://www.absolutepunk.net/angelsandairwaves) have posted some Q&A videos on their website (http://angelsandairwaves.com/qanda/1-Design/AVA%20Q&A.html).

I love Tom.

But...

in these videos, i get the feeling he is trying to "recapture" that same goofy charm of old Blink interviews, because he realizes that, maybe, he's been taking himself a littttttle too seriously lately.

all that aside, WDNTW is good.

Hahha yeah that was a good album. I couldn't help but keep replaying the one song that had shitty special fx sounds and boring guitars and even more boring bass lines.

Wait

That was the whole cd. My bad.

Atom kicks ass on the kit though and I am excited to hear him... and that's... about... it. Tom lost what made him great and talented. I think he knows it so he's trying to ressurect the old tom and if so how fucking sad is that? Damn sad.

But hey plus 44 wasn't too great either... a good burn to have but that's all. They have just as bas lyrics "lets slit our wrists and burn down something beautiful"
Are you kidding me?

Anyways sorry for the tangents... you get the idea....

Jesus. Stop with the Blink stuff... There is Angels and Airwaves and +44 now. Tom gets too much shit around here...

That aside these videos are pretty funny... The guitarist is my boy.

Tom has been this way in interviews... good to see people not completely smashing him right now. :-)

I am sick of the people who keep saying stuff like Tom takes himself too seriously now. He was just as cocky in blink. He used to say how Miss You would replace sex. How the first 20 minutes of their last CD are considered the best in punk-rock history by some people (Robert Smith) and how Always would bring world peace. And he did say some crazy shit for AvA but just as many times he would say "I can't believe everyone took me so seriously, they never took me seriously before, but now they do". If you don't like the album and/or Tom, that's fine. But if you dont like it only because you think he has a big ego, then you better start trashing all bling album's too.

What? He's not trying to "recapture" anything... maybe he's just being Tom. Did that ever cross your mind?

"Tom lost what made him great and talented"? He is still the same person? He just chose to move on. Also, Atom doesn't even compare to Travis.

"A good burn to have, but that's all." I'm not in love with Plus 44, but the decent thing to do is buy their music if you like it. If you don't like it, then pass on it, or stream it online. Saying that an album is only worth stealing is grossly direspectful. +44 wrote a record that they hoped people would enjoy. I'm sure they put a lot of work into it [I'm betting it was more work then you do for a living seeing as how you have time to bash them on some forum], and it's a shame to see someone claim that their accomplishment deserves nothing more then theft.

At least Tom wrote a record that brings to life a wholesome message of faith and love. At least his message has substance and weight to it. Your sarcastic and cheap comment doesn't amount to anything.
