At 3a.m. Unless you mean TRL, which is a garbage show. um i hate both MTV and shows like my super sweet sixteen. and i dont hate MTV because they "ruined music" i just hate it because they play shitty music. and fuse does now too. but i dont blame them because its all in the interest of more viewers. and theres a difference between the words poppy and just pop. i know my music is poppy, poppy = catchy pretty much. but i dont listen to straight up pop it has to be more characteristical of rock. pop rock at the least. and then you say kelly clarkson well her music just sucks. haha. imo it becomes straight pop when there is no focus on the band (guitar/bass/drums), it's all on the singer, and on shitty, cliche, dumbed down lyrics. even the poppiest groups i listen to, the music is based on the guitar power chord progressions and the rhythm is based on real drums, not electronic beats, therefore its not completely pop for me.

fans i hate most are the ones who listen only to a band's debut cd, and go to concerts like 2 or 3 releases later. and then after the disappointment that they dont play any debut songs (it always comes as such a surprise to them), they shout at the band saying they suck. lots of brand new's "old school" fans were like that shortly before and after the release of TDAG; they only seemed to want to hear jude law. it really pissed me off.
