Hey all, I'm going to let everyone generously recommend music to me. But before you do, please take me taste in to consideration.

Currently I am really wooed by The Format, The Academy is.., Coldplay, Cute is What We Aim for, 30 Seconds to Mars (Only 1/2 the CD I like), and Something Corporate.

I am truly in love with Jack's Mannequin, I can't get enough of Everything In Transit. I have continuously played this CD over and over again, I think at this time even my iPod is stick of it.

I don't enjoy music that is too hard or where the lyrics contain to much yelling or screaming.

Please make some recommendation and I look forward to downloading much music and enjoying it.

I love Gatsby's American Dream, but also like Forgive Durden. I have all the Bright Eyes stuff and Death Cab for Cutie and like them about them and listen to them but don't enjoy the as much as some other stuff.

I will also look in the Say Anything and The Dear Hunter.

Thanks for the help :D

I took about a week to digest all your music... most of it was real good and I loved it. My new favorites are Tokyo Police Club, The Kooks, and Waking Ashland. I also enjoyed Dear and the Headlights but to a lesser extent. I found The View out of my taste, but thanks for recommending it it because I gave the CD to a friend, who fell in love with it.

I didn't download the Silversun Pickups, but wanted to know if the vocals are done by the girl?

P.S: I'm going to go see Tokyo Police Club in concert this month, so a special thanks for that one.

IWasaCamera (http://www.absolutepunk.net/member.php?u=118832): Belle & Sebastian are amazing, I have all 9 CDs and plan to listen to every one over and over again. This band is a MUST!

TheArdentLove (http://www.absolutepunk.net/member.php?u=67278): I have the music you told me to check it, however I have not had time to fully listen to it yet, I will get back to you in a couple of days.

A Special thanks to all who have helped me out. I am still welcoming more music...

i'm glad you are awesome and actually checked them out!

re: Silversun Pickups, the lead vocalist is male but a girl does do back-up. i normally dislike female vocals but hers are okay.

by the way, have fun at Tokyo Police Club!
