I thought Vices was pretty good, but not stuff I'd listen to all the time.. I think they pretty much died in late '06.

Vices was absolutely terrible, and I've never actually given Four Wall Blackmail a listen, but seriously, New Medicines is really solid.

Oh gosh so true. I really liked Vices, especially the songs that Chino produced. Eighteen Visions was one of my favorite bands back in high school, but that self titled record was chud.

Oh, and Vices > New Medicines, easily. When listening to New Medicines, it is very obvious that Vices is the sound that they wanted all along, but couldn't have because they wanted that atrocious screaming to draw certain audiences in.

I don't understand the Vices hate. If I feel like listening to Dead Poetic (which happens rarely these days), that's always the album I go to. It's a really fun rock 'n' roll album, and it isn't held back by horrible screaming.

yeah I used to be really into them around the time of Vices, one of those bands that I still really enjoy but don't listen to that often. both albums have awesome songs

I just listened to New Medicines, I still love that album after almost 6 years. Vices was an album I hated when it first came out, but I'd say I like about half of the album now, mostly the slower songs on it.
