Tallahassee, Florida-based rock outfit Mayday Parade (http://www.absolutepunk.net/maydayparade) have made a re-recorded version of "When I Get Home, You're So Dead" available for streaming on their myspace (http://www.myspace.com/maydayparade) profile. The song is set to appear on the quintet's forthcoming release, A Lesson in Romantics, which is slated for a July 10th (http://www.absolutepunk.net/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=2579&c=3) release via Fearless Records.

yeah that was the only song on their ep that was enjoyable and they rerecorded a crappier version for their full length? if they cant come up with enough new material for a full length just release another ep.

I didn't like this song in the first place, but I'd say this version sounds better.

yeah, i didnt think this track was as good as the original version when I first heard it.

but i have to say, it does grow on you and the album should be awesome. and the fact that it comes out on my birthday makes it all the better.

the intro in the new one is awful. its still the same song so of course itll grow on you, but it still comes no where close to the first one. boo. :-/

The new version still has the old vocalist, he didnt leave until after they were done recording.

Why the hell does everyone have to brag about liking demos better on this site? Rarely are the demos better.

I liked the auto-tuning on "girls make boys cry", in the demo. Yet, the use of autotune is something people usually bitch about.

The new version is better than the original. It's better produced without being less organic. Hell, I'd go as far as to say the new version is a lot more organic; the original version's beginning autotune made it hard to pay attention to anything after 0:13, or the rest of the EP in general.

This album has the potential to be good. The EP bored me, however.

overall i like this version better, the lead singers voice is so much better than on the ep
