I am officially in love with this album. I made a thread about it in the General Forum, but I think it might find a bigger audience here. Dennis Wilson (yes, the Beach Boy) released a lone album himself and was well on his way to proving that his talent had been severely underestimated. Brother Brian praised the album, but Dennis was not happy with it, finding it too one-dimensional (apparently being a perfectionist runs in the family). He set out to improve upon this already incredible album with a follow-up, Bamboo, which unfortunately went unfinished and thus unreleased due to his unfortunate death. This album is very difficult to find in stores and bidding starts at over $100 on eBay for the cd version. Do your best to find this album online and please give it a listen. There are obvious Beach Boys moments, as well as Pink Floyd influences, but it has such a genuine soul to it that it's touching and, often times, quite sad too.
