I just need some help on which ones I should or shouldn't get:
I am definitely going to be buying:
Thursday - "War All The Time"
Story of the Year - "Page Avenue"
Matchbook Romance - "Stories & Alibis"
Should I get the following and if so which album(s)?:
Jets To Brazil
Bright Eyes
Cursive (The Ugly Organ or Domestica?!? Is "The Great Decay" on "The Ugly Organ"?)
Thanks for the help. Recommend anything else I should take a listen to.

Get both Domestica and The Ugly Organ. "The Great Decay" is on the Burst & Bloom EP though. Hell, if you have enough money, get the 2 full lengths and the EP.

Jets To Brazil- its a tough one, i cant really decide between orange rhyming dictionary and four cornered night. if you can afford both, it will be quite the investment.
Bright Eyes- I really liked Fevers and Mirrors
Cursive- I looooove Domestica and Ugly Organ either or will be a good choice. The Great Decay is from Burst and Bloom.
some other suggestions:
Kind of Like Spitting- You Secretly Want Me Dead
Hey Mercedes- Everynight Fireworks
Q and Not U- Different Damage
Brandtson- Dial In Sounds
Sense Field- Living Outside ......pretty solid new release.
Hope this helps.

Dang...I don't like buying EPs, but I love "The Great Decay" so I guess I'm gonna have to. I love that damn song!!!
I know OF Kind of Like Spitting and q and not u, but what do they each sound like individually/respectively?!?
And I like the last Sense Field record better.
Also, I'm awaiting Loses Control by Hey Mercedes. Great band!

If you're going to get Kind Of Like Spitting, get his album "Nothing Makes Sense Without It". He's kinda like Bright Eyes meets Death Cab For Cutie.
I Hate Myself - Ten Songs.
hot damn!

KOLS- shit what can I say, Ben Barnett is brilliant. Its just relaxing acoustic material.
Q and Not U- too hard to describe, just really good nontraditional indie rock.
Also be on the look out for the new Death Cab For Cutie. I think it's scheduled for release in October but I've already heard it and its awesome.
The new Hey Mercedes is really good, though I've only given it two listens thus far....too damn busy with work. But I'm seeing them tonight :D

Agreed
As for jets to brazil, orange rhyming dictionary is in my opinion, far better than four cornered night, or perfect lonliness. But jawbreaker, who had blake schwartzenbach (singer, songwriter, guitar for JTB) Is far better than jets to brazil.
