I can wear a 7 3/8 to a 7 1/2, I've never really have had a problem with the new 5950's, I have of them and the two 7 3/8's I have fit identical and my 7 1/2 fits fine. I wear 7 3/8's because I prefer a tighter fit, but the 7 1/2 fits perfectly on me too.
