Exactly. It's not the pop punk that bitches about the same relationship bullshit over and over again. Their lyrics are simple and honest, they don't try to fuck around and beat around the bush to come up with the most clever way to say one thing.

i dont get all elitist all the time, because normally i dont care about personal tastes.

On a serious note, I never have thought much of either of them. Midtown might have helped push the New Found Glory/Drive-Thru days, but I always thought their albums were poorly produced and hard to get through.

I enjoyed Bring It as much as everyone when they first heard it, but thought the whole album was a little forced.

Hmmm... I like both bands a lot, but when it comes down to it, Cobra Starship seem to be a band that got quick success from Snakes On A Plane, so with that being said, Midtown didn't have a gimmick to go off of, and had to build a fanbase without the help of a movie. I think that comparing the two bands isn't a fair comparison, because Cobra Starship only has one album. Once they release another album, I think it will be more of a fair comparison, but until then, I'm sticking with Midtown.

Don't get me wrong, I really, really like Cobra Starship, but they are in no way, shape, or form better than Midtown. At all.

Viva La Cobra has some really fun songs, but they have yet to write one song better than anything Midtown ever wrote.
